Panacea Ai is the creator of intelligent medical technologies, designed to simplify complexity and improve outcomes for hospitals, surgeons and patients across the entire orthopaedic journey.

We partnered with the team to define the brand strategy, clarify its positioning and develop a distinctive identity system that reflects both the intelligence of the technology and the human impact of its application.

The result is a brand that introduces a new way of thinking within orthopaedics and builds trust for all involved: surgeons, clinics and patients.

The Challenge

Panacea Ai operates in a highly complex and fragmented category where systems are outdated, disconnected and difficult to navigate.  

The challenge was not just to simply position the business, but to make sense of a sophisticated and evolving technology offering in a way that felt clear, credible and easy to understand. At the same time, the brand needed to establish trust with multiple stakeholders, from surgeons and clinics through to patients, each with very different needs, expectations and levels of technical understanding.

The opportunity was to organise complexity and define a new space within the category.

Strategy

The strategy was built on a core insight. Orthopaedic care is fragmented, complex and constantly evolving, yet the existing systems supporting it have failed to keep pace.  

To address this, we defined a new positioning for the business:
Adaptive Orthopaedics

The introduction of this brand idea, reframes Panacea Ai as more than simply another digital health tool. As a category leader and disruptor, shaping a more responsive, intelligent and connected model of care.

The positioning reflects how the technology behaves. It listens, adapts and responds in real time, supporting personalised care pathways for everyone across the entire orthopaedic journey. This strategic direction allowed the brand to move beyond product features and into a leadership position, creating clarity in a category that is otherwise crowded with generic brands and clinical messaging.
Panacea Ai exists to orchestrate the entire orthopaedic experience end-to-end. Connecting surgeons, clinics and patients like never before.

The identity system is built around a clear idea:
Kinetic intelligence that adapts to context.  

At the centre sits a confident and grounded wordmark that provides clarity, trust and authority. Surrounding it, the adaptive Ai form shifts and evolves, reflecting the changing needs of patients, clinicians and care teams.

This dynamic device is not simply decorative. It actively responds to what the moment requires, mirroring how the platform operates across the orthopaedic journey.

The balance between stability and motion is deliberate. The wordmark anchors the brand, while the evolving forms express responsiveness, learning and continuous improvement.

This creates a visual language that feels alive and intelligent. It demonstrates the behaviour of the technology rather than simply describing it.

Together, these elements establish a brand that feels confident, progressive and distinct within a category that is often safe, static and interchangeable.

Final words (from the client)

Mariachi are true craftsmen.
Going into the brand strategy process, we didn’t fully realise just how much impact it would have, not only on how our offering is perceived in themarket, but on the business itself.

The insights we gained also led to us making a number of critical changes to the offerings that were truly invaluable. As a tech start-up, we knew that the typical early light-touch approach to branding would only take us so far. What we didn’t expect was just how transformative it would feel to see our brand brought to life in such a clear, impactful and professional way. It gave us a real sense of energy and confidence. Something we could immediately taket o market.

Off the back of the strategy, we were able to very quickly re-brand our platform, website and social channels. The response has been extremely positive, and it’s clear the new direction has elevated how we are perceived in the market.
